The DMCI was involved in post production and animation, integrating realistic looking graphic elements into the live action edits. This includes letters, words and objects appearing as if they were real puppetry elements that best friends, Didi and B interact with. The DMCI also played around with environmental compositing and grading included turning day to night with shooting stars and fireflies, the addition of fireworks as well as the integration of magical sparkles and various light rays and elements throughout. Didi & B, breaks new ground for Nick Jr. with a focus on the visually stimulating set design, and puppets designed to connect with little ones. Regular segments will keep pre-schoolers engaged while learning, and the series will be supported with games and apps, online activities and songs. Working with MOON's creative and accounts team, we produced 4 Premium Fashion Brand spots as well as a large variety of HOW TO and Fashion focus content. The four Premium Fashion spots – Ladylike, 60’s, Shimmer & Shine and Print Clash feature choreographed scenarios paying tribute to a variety of era’s and the Westfield Fashion Brands inspired by them. The campaign includes a 60’s inspired dance routine featuring a giant, purpose built revolving record player, while another spot occurs entirely within an elevator, reminiscent of the ‘Mad Men’ era. The spots were shot over 2 action packed days working with the MOON team, 3 dancers, choreographer Leah Howard and a team of stylists. These spots combined with the HOW TO content, are part of the broad media campaign that has just rolled out for TV, iPad, iPhone, Interactive Web and In-store use. /// Global Seasonal Idents The DMCI won a global pitch to create a series of internationally broadcast ids and bugs for Nickelodeon. Based on the seasons – Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, Spring and Summer – the Ids are fun little snippets based on the Nickelodeon Logo. The first 5 Ids have launched, with Spring and Summer to follow. The results are fantastic with Nickelodeon producer Simone Smith commenting: "I think it is unanimous on our end that we are thrilled with the final outcome of these IDs – you have a very talented team and we would like to extend our thanks for putting so much hard work and effort into this project." The event brings together the cream of the Australian student crop, giving them a taste of what it is like to be a fighter jet pilot. Our brief was to create a stunning, fast paced, evocative and fun stylisation of flying a fighter jet which included the use of projection mapping technology. Overall we had to produce a piece which would stir up a desire in the attendees to take that step and become a fast jet pilot. At a certain point in the evening, the attendees were ushered down a dark corridor, as alarms and and lights flashed. Brought into the vast projection space, the countdown began and the screening started. The visuals were screened across a 50 foot space, the focus on a central fighter jet as it flies through a variety of scenarios and environments. The plane itself was a to-scale physical model of the jet upon which additional visuals were projected. As a whole, the 4 minute screening combined a variety of projection techniques and visual treatments. channels update of news offering. The aim was to create a poetic and visually engaging piece for intelligent viewers, with visual metaphors that represent the stance of SBS World News. Abstract carrier pigeons reveal news footage. Shadows and light play creates patterns which illuminate the channel's multiple angles and depth of coverage to news stories. To stay at the forefront, the news is collected through night and day ending with a murmuration of wings flocking together as the accumulation of information, brought directly to our world.
